Since the year 2000, Griffin Audio has manufactured High-End loudspeakersystems for recording studios and mastering studios alike.They meet the demand for a loudspeaker system that can accuratelyreproduce the content of today's high-definition sound recordings.
Our G1.5 and G2 models are now in their fourth generation of updates.
They have a new tweeter. It is a brand new design of the Iso-Planar tweeter and the distortion is even lower than our previous tweeters.The midrange is still the superb magnesium 22 cm driver.The 15" and 18" low-frequency drivers are unchanged.All systems have new amplification from previous models, with even better specifications and sound-quality.
The G1 started as a high-end custom mastering loudspeaker for Tony Dawsey at Masterdisk and it was transformed into the G1 you can see in these pictures. It has proven itself as a reference monitor in places like The Studio at the Palms.
The G1.5 is our best selling system. It has plenty of output from 30 Hz and up past the audible—the G1.5 is a favorite at Berklee College of Music.
The G2 is our smallest speaker, but it is not small in size or performance. You’ll find plenty of bass from 30 Hz and up and sound levels that are more than sufficient.
